INITIAL CONTACT

- Whether there’s a timeline or special date you’re working toward
The more detail you include, the more thoughtfully I can respond. There is no automated reply, you’ll hear from me personally.
CONVERSATION & DESIGN
Once I receive your message, I’ll be in touch to explore your idea further. We’ll discuss options, materials, form, and practical aspects. If you’re in Berlin we can schedule a in-person consultation.
During this stage we refine the design together until you’re happy with the direction. It’s a collaborative exchange that ensures the final piece feels truly connected to your intention.
QUOTE & CONFIRMATION
After the design is agreed, you’ll receive a custom quote based on materials, complexity, and timing. Once you confirm and pay the initial deposit, the work officially begins.
Because each piece is crafted by hand and requires dedicated studio time, I take a limited number of bespoke commissions each month. If you have a specific deadline, please reach out early to avoid timing constraints.
MAKING & TIMING
Custom pieces are made in my studio using traditional methods and careful finishing. Depending on the complexity of the piece and my current schedule, production time typically ranges from 3 to 8 weeks from confirmation to finalisation.
Throughout this period I’ll keep you updated on progress and any nuances that arise in the making process.
FINAL PAYMENT & DELIVERY
When your piece is complete, the remaining balance is due before delivery. Your finished bespoke item will be carefully packaged and sent to you with insured postage and tracking information.
For local clients in Berlin, we can also arrange a studio collection if preferred.

THE PIECE
What would you like to create? A ring, earrings, pendant, bracelet, necklace, cufflinks, spoon, or perhaps something entirely unique? I’m always happy to explore new shapes and ideas.
MATERIAL
Please let me know which metal you would like your piece to be made of. If you choose gold, specify the desired carat.
If you want stones, what types, colours, or approximate sizes are you drawn to? If you’re unsure, I’m happy to offer guidance.
SIZE
For rings, please provide your exact size. I strongly recommend confirming this with me in the studio or with a trusted local jeweller, as custom pieces are final sale.
For all other pieces, please describe the desired dimensions as clearly as possible to ensure the best fit.
ENGRAVING
Would you like to add an engraving? You can choose between hand engraving or laser engraving. For laser engravings, it’s also possible to incorporate your own handwriting.
REFERENCES
Please share 1–3 images that inspire you or reflect the style you envision for your piece. These will help guide the design process.

Custom Design Policy
Each piece is thoughtfully designed and handmade with care. I’m always happy to work with you on creating something personal and meaningful. Please note that I do not copy or replicate designs by other makers. If you’re looking to recreate a specific piece by another jeweller, I kindly encourage you to contact the original creator directly, in respect of their work and creative rights.
All custom pieces are made by hand using traditional techniques. Small variations from sketches, reference images, or pieces shown online are a natural part of the process and reflect the individuality of handmade work. Subtle irregularities that may occur during casting or finishing are not considered flaws, but part of the character of each piece.
Production times vary depending on the design and current workload. For silver cast rings, the making process usually takes 2–7 weeks before dispatch. Work begins once the offer is accepted or payment is received. I’m not responsible for delays caused by shipping providers, and for orders outside the EU, any customs fees or additional charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
Accurate sizing is especially important for rings. If the size is determined together with me, one free resizing is possible if needed. If the size is provided without consultation and turns out to be incorrect, resizing can still be arranged at an additional cost.
Custom-made pieces include a surcharge depending on the complexity of the design. Pieces created specifically for you cannot be returned or exchanged. Devi Petti designs are made as individual works and are not available for mass production. Any extended use or reproduction must be discussed in advance.
By confirming a custom order or completing payment, these terms are considered accepted.
